Published self-serve prices, charged per request (per document for lists of CVs and documents) from a prepaid balance. No subscription, no monthly minimum and no setup fee. A single key and a single balance cover every operation.

## How is the Curriculo API billed?

The Curriculo API is prepaid. Every account starts with a one-time $5.00 free credit, each request draws from your balance, and failed requests are never charged. There is no subscription, monthly minimum or setup fee. Curriculo ATS plans are billed separately; see the plans section below and the main pricing page.

## Curriculo ATS plans

This page covers the prepaid Curriculo API. Curriculo ATS, the hiring product your team signs in to, has its own plans, with no seat fees on any of them:

## Prices

All prices are USD and exclude local taxes.

## How charging works

- **One request is one charge, except lists of documents.** Ten CVs in one `/parse/` call cost $0.10 ($0.01 each). The other exceptions are screening interviews, charged per invite sent, and recordings, charged by duration.
- **Background tasks** are charged once, at their final outcome, at their operation's price: an async parse of 25 links costs $0.01 per CV parsed. See [Background processing and callbacks](/docs/background-processing/).
- **Recording tasks reserve funds.** `/summary/async` and `/transcribe/async` reserve the charge for the 2-hour maximum when the task is accepted. Without enough credit for the reservation, the request returns `400`.

## What is never charged

- **Failed requests.** A `4xx` or `5xx` costs you nothing.
- **Failed background tasks,** such as a dead link or an unreadable file.
- **Failed screening invites.**

## Balance and payment

| Prepaid balance | Calls draw from your credit balance. When it reaches zero, calls are refused with `403` until you add credit. |
| Payment method | Card, via Stripe. Card details are entered on Stripe's own pages, never on a Curriculo screen. |
| Automatic top-up | Optional and off by default. Turn it on in **Console → Billing** and choose a threshold; when the balance falls below it, your card tops it back up so calls do not stop mid-workload. |

## Reading your spend

API responses do not carry cost data. **Console → Usage** shows calls, errors, p50 latency and credits spent for the period, as a summary and a daily series filterable by product and by key.

### Is there a free trial of the Curriculo API?

Yes. Every account starts with a one-time $5.00 free credit, and no payment method is needed to start.

### Are failed requests charged?

No. A 4xx or 5xx response costs nothing, and neither does a failed background task or a failed screening invite.

### What happens when my balance reaches zero?

Calls are refused with 403 until you add credit in Console, Billing. Optional automatic top-up refills the balance below a threshold you choose.

### What do Curriculo ATS plans cost?

Starter is free, Pro is $50 a month at the early-bird price, and Enterprise is custom. No plan has seat fees. See curriculo.me/pricing/.
